Our Plan, Step by Step

Step 1 – Build the party. Grow our membership, develop the program together with our members and prepare to take part in Dutch elections.

Step 2 – Shift taxes from labour to AI and capital. Tax AI profits, large-scale compute, the commercial use of data and very large fortunes, so the tax base keeps pace as machines do more of the work.

Step 3 – Share the proceeds. Set up a people’s fund that takes stakes in AI and pays every citizen a dividend, and introduce a universal basic income funded by AI revenues.

Step 4 – Return time to people. Phase in a shorter work week with pay kept, make the basics free or nearly free, and invest in public AI as a utility under democratic oversight.

Step 5 – Make it global. Work with other democratic countries to extend the global minimum tax to AI, build a shared fund and develop public AI together.
